American Common Sense Prevail

With the Democrats gaining control of both houses, the American people finally made their displeasure over the Bush Administration's policy on Iraq a reality. Defense Secretary, Rumsfield, took the cue and resigned after the Republicans conceded defeat. Former CIA director, Robert "Bob" Gates had been handpicked to be the new Secretary of defense. Of course, his appointment has to be approved. Bush will now want to end his presidency immediately, rather than wait the two long years before his term officially ends. It is the first time in 12 years that both houses are in control of the Democrats. Nancy Pelosi, the designate speaker of the house, has a low opinion on Bush and his questionable leadership. She has labeled Bush with many unkind remarks. I am very sure she is not alone in this matter.
