Inzhagi Double Sinks Liverpool

I was extremely disappointed with Liverpool after watching them go down to a brace by Filippo Inzhagi who scored for AC Milan in the 45th and 82nd minute. Although, Dirk Kuyt's header gave some hope for the Reds' fans in the 88th minute, it was a goal too late and AC Milan was crowned European champions for the 7th time in history. Liverpool dominated the first half, muffed many chances only for AC Milan to score against the run of play. Andrea Pirlo's 20-yard free-kick hit the Inzhagi and wrongfooted the unlucky Pepe Reina. And Inzaghi put Milan 2-0 ahead when Kaka sent him into the box, where he skipped around Reina and coolly slotted the ball into the net. AC Milan 2, Liverpool 1.
