Federer, Williams Are Wimbledon Champions

Roger Federer claimed his fifth consecutive Wimbledon men's singles tennis title after a hard fought five set match against Rafael Nadal. The Swiss triumphed against the Spaniard 7-6, 4-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-2. Federer has matched Swede Bjorn Borg's record of five consecutive championships and is set to break the record. Meanwhile, American Venus Williams captured her fourth Ladies' singles title with a straight sets victory against French Marion Bartoli 6-4, 6-1. It's a pity that Belgian lass Justine Henin lost in the semi-finals as she is my favourite ladies singles tennis player.
