Canaries No Longer Wooden Spoonist, Celtic Through

English football Coca-Cola Championship side Norwich City FC have successfully climbed out of the bottom spot after registering their third win in four matches. Just now, the Canaries triumphed over Plymouth Argyle 2-1 at Carrow Road. Chad Evans struck early to give Norwich City a shock 2nd minute lead before Darren Huckerby cooly converted an 87th minute penalty to give the home side a two-goal advantage. Plymouth replied with an 89th minute goal but they did not have enough time to find the equaliser. Common boys, you can certainly beat the drop! Glen Roeder has certainly done wonders for the Canaries! Queen's Park Rangers now occupy the bottom spot after their 1-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace. More good news for the Canaries' fans as both Colchester and Cardiff lost at home 2-3 to Watford and 0-2 to Charlton respectively. This means that Norwich City are just three points away from escaping the drop zone.

Meanwhile, Celtic managed to go through the knock-out stages of the Champions League although they lost to AC Milan away. Benfica did Celtic a huge favor by defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 away to ensure a runners-up position for Celtic in Group D. Congratulations to Celtic!
