Liverpool Are Through

Yes, Liverpool has made it into the next stage of the Champions League as expected. After yesterday's round of matches, ten clubs have booked their places in the knockout stages of the Champions League. On Tuesday, Celtic qualified for the knockout stages for the first time under this format of the competition with a home win against Manchester United. And on Wednesday, Chelsea joined the Bhoys and Liverpool in the next round, with only Arsenal and Manchester United needing at least a point in their final group game to make it a quintet of British teams in the last 16. Liverpool overcame PSV Eindhoven 2-0 at Anfield courtesy of goals by Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch. Come on Reds, let's repeat our Instanbul success!
