Two own goals made sure that Norwich City FC remained in the English Championship for another season. They lost 0-2 away to Preston North End. In the EPL, Chelsea edged closer to retaining their Premiership title with a 4-1 win over West Ham United. Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all won to put the pressure on the leaders.
