Canaries Blunt Blades

Norwich City FC did very well to beat high-flying Sheffield United 2-1 courtesy of goals by Leon McKenzie and Robert Earnshaw at Carrow Road in the English Championship. While in the EPL, champions Chelsea fell to a shock 0-1 away defeat at Fulham in a match which saw William Gallas sent-off in injury time. Liverpool were comfortable 3-1 away winners at Newcastle and Manchester United also recorded a 2-1 away win at West Bromwich Albion. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs also won, while Portsmouth won again to revive their battle to avoid the drop.
