More Micah Please

Manchester City rightback Micah Richards became the 7th youngest player ever to play for England when he made his debut against an understrength Holland. The match in Amsterdam ended in a 1-1 draw. But it was Richards who really impressed. With regular Gary Neville injured, Richards is a strong candiddate to replace Neville in the future. As for the game, although England showed an improvement from the previous disaster with Croatia, I felt that England did not do enough. Frank Lampard should be dropped, Steven Gerrard should be played in the centre of midfield and maybe David Beckham should be given another chance. England is in danger of missing Euro 2008 unless they improve on their next games. And maybe, McLaren is the wrong choice for the hot seat.
