My Operation

I cannot remember the last time I was operated upon. If I am not mistaken, I think it was in the late 90s at a private hospital in Subang Jaya. At that time, I was working for a commercial bank. Come 25th March 2012, I will be warded at a government specialist hospital in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. I will be undergoing a minor operation on the 26th March 2012 for two abcesses ("bisul" in Malay). Actually, the doctors there are still not sure over the whole thing, but they have labelled it as perianal sinus, whatever that means. One of my Facebook friends gave me a scare by telling me that it can be risky because it involves some main body nerves. Yup, I got frightened at one point. But, I have complete trust and confidence in Malaysia's government surgeons. They would not be doing what they are now if they are not trained to do so, right? And I am sure my minor operation would be handled by them with ease. I pray that there would be no complications whatsoever and I would return to "normal" health. Yes, I have been guilty sometimes of neglecting my health sometimes, but I do hope to live until a ripe old age. I am getting to the age where taking care of my health gets increasingly important. I will do my best. Please pray for me...
